Magdalena Morey (b. 1974, Poland)  explores the human form as a reflection of life’s pulse, balance and flow. She sees the figure not as something to be copied but as an event shaped by rhythm, gesture and emotion, open to transformation and interpretation.

Having grown up close to nature, she finds parallels between organic movement and the human body. Her use of lines evokes threads and fibres, veins and roots that express inner life, memory and a sense of connection. Through strong colour, fluid lines and layered textures, her work reveals how movement transforms the body into a landscape of emotion and energy.

Magdalena studied Artistic Textiles at the C.K. Norwid Art College in Lublin and earned her Master’s degree in Painting from the nearby M.C.Skłodowska University. After living and exhibiting in England and Switzerland, she settled in Asturias in northern Spain, where she continues to develop her work. Her paintings are represented by several international galleries and are held in collections around the world.
